Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the development of a drug dispenser. Annotated bibliography reviews published research on the variability of the design of dispensers in their application in medical practice, as well as literature describing their electrical and mechanical function. The theoretical and practical part of the thesis designs and implements a 3D model of the device based on clinical requirements and determines the electronics necessary for proper dosing function. The thesis designs and implements a communication interface and software for collecting the necessary data. Finally, the study verifies the functionality of the physical dispenser and evaluates the achieved results.
