Abstract

This thesis deal with problems regarding to non destructive technical diagnostics of solid objects, focused on crystallizers of continuous casting devices. Solution is divided into two parts. The first part is intended to design and realization of non destructive technical diagnostics of laboratory model of crystallizer to identify its characteristics. As a result of this first part is proposition of method for identification of the state of crystallizer’s model with usage of power spectrum density which is carrying relevant information about ongoing changes in the object and artificial neural network for its processing. In the second part will be the laboratory method modified for application into operational conditions and analysis of real measurements on crystallizer in operational conditions were made. Obtained knowledge is inserted into the proposition of system intended to support control of service life of crystallizers in continuous steel casting devices.
