The diploma thesis deals with the transport of biological material intended for laboratory testing. The aim of this thesis is to develop a safety project focused on an innovative design for the transport, with an emphasis on identifying and minimizing the risks associated with the transport of samples by car. The theoretical part is devoted to defining the laboratory diagnostic process, the characteristics of biological material, and the principles of its transport, including related legislation. The practical part describes and evaluates the existing system for transporting biological material, identifies the risks associated with the transport process, and, based on their evaluation, proposes measures to increase the safety and efficiency of transporting biological material samples.
