Abstract

The increasing electric energy consumption reflects the growing human population. Thus, the significant worldwide increase in an electric energy consumption can be expected. Nowadays, the majority of an energy production is based on non-renewable resources but their reserves are being depleted. Therefore, it is necassary to deal with searching for an alternative both the current and the future electric energy consumption coverage. The main goal of this thesis is to get familiar with the new or less common resourses available for an electric energy production and provide detailed information about electric energy production based on these resources along with the way of a function of the individual power plants.
