Hodnocení porušenosti horninového masivu pomocí RQD v podmínkách čs. části hornoslezské uhelné pánve

Abstract

This diploma thesis briefly describes the geology of the area of interest, rock types and their geomechnical properties and the basic facts associated with coal mining in the Ostrava-Karvina district. The thesis also describes the calculation of the reduced strength, and determines the average reduced strength of effective overburden seam. Thesis compares the results of calculations and reduced strength using two parameters: kop and RQD. The conclusion summarizes the findings that resulted from this comparison.
