Město Ostrava a jeho správa

Abstract

This bachelor final work is focused on the organisation and management of the corporate town Ostrava – organisation structure of the entire town and also of its particular municipalities. The purpose of the initial part of the work is to inform reader about the general organisation of the public service in the Czech republic, about applied terminology and about structure of the town and municipalities management. All these information are about actual situation and also about their historical development. The next part of the work is focused on analysis and evaluation of the data collected from different resources considering the relation of functionality and effectivity of the independent and transferred competence. In the final part of the work are suggested four possibilities of the solution based on the previous analysis. They lead more or less to improvement of the town management system, both for the entire corporate town Ostrava and for its 23 municipalities.
