Abstract

The bachelor thesis documents the work done during professional practice in the ELCOM company and its Virtual Instrumentation division. The main aim of the practice was participation on various projects and contracts. As a result, a wide scale of work tasks has been executed, ranging from the development of algorithms and drivers for a wide range of devices, construction of product quality monitoring processes, to the technical writing of product manuals and individual project protocols. Many tasks included image acquisition and processing with a variety of camera setups, utilizing several hardware configurations and software products. When programming, LabVIEW graphical programming language was the main development platform.
