Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of wastewater treatment at the plant in the town of Zubří, which lies in the Zlín region. The thesis consists of a theoretical as well as practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics and composition of wastewater that accumulates at the plant in Zubří. Then, it describes the technology of wastewater treatment at the given plant, including the functions of particular facilities. The practical part addresses the development of water pollution including the concentration and balance of individual indicators. In relation to the development of pollution, the treatment efficiency for the ten-year period as well as the recipient’s load of the released polluted wastewater are assessed.
