Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh Společenského centra na Rohanském ostrově v Praze, které poskytne zázemí pro trávení volného času obyvatel z navržené zástavby i jejího širokého okolí. Objekt nabídne pestré zastoupení volnočasových aktivit. Řešený objekt vychází z navržené urbanistické struktury, která svým charakterem navazuje na stávající blokovou zástavbu a snaží se vytvořit vazbu na řeku Vltavu. Součástí návrhu je tedy vytvoření nového ramene řeky, které umožní optimální propojení řešeného území s vodní hladinou. Vznikne tak nový atraktivní veřejný prostor, na který naváže široký pás zeleně určený k rekreaci.

Subject of this diploma thesis is a proposal of the Social centre on the Rohan island in Prague, which should provide a background for spending a free time of near residents as well as wide neighborhood. This object will provide variety of freetime activities. The building is based on the proposed urban structure, which by its nature follows the existing apartment buildings and tries to connect it with the Vltava river. Thus, the proposal includes the creation of a new arm of the river, which will allow optimal interconnection of the solved area with the water surface. This will create a new, attractive public space, followed by a wide green recreation area.
