Abstract

Supervisor: doc. Ing. Ivana Mahdalová, Ph.D. The subject of my thesis is to calm down the streets of Lower Novosadská in Olomouc, regardless of the safety bicycle and pedestrian traffic. Part of this work is to evaluace a structural and technical condition street Lower Novosadská adjacent thereto intersection. Finding the bicycle and automobile traffic in the area through traffic survey and assess its capacity. Subsequently, the calculation of prospective capacity for 2035 and propose modifications to the intersection of the matter on the safe management of bicycle and pedestrian traffic. The work is also carried out management's proposal bicycle transport in the main traffic area, and also in the associated as divided and undivided trail for cyclists and pedestrians. The aim is to design a solution that fits the safety and flow of traffic on the street Lower Novosadská and adjacent to the intersection.
