Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with a comprehensive overview study of the principles and applicability of biometric methods for security identification of users. The thesis describes the basic concepts for better orientation in the field of biometrics. Furthermore, individual biometric methods are described with a more detailed description of image biometrics, which makes the work more interesting. The work is conceptually conceived as an experimental laboratory task for the possibilities of biometric identification based on image processing methods.
