Abstract

Alloys on the base of NiTiCo, NiTiCu and NiTiCuMo for experiments were selected. On these materials, evaluations of microstructures and transformation characteristics in dependence on thermal/mechanical treatment were done. Alloys were prepared by vacuum induction melting in graphite crucible and this was followed by casting of material into a ingot-mould with diameter of 10 mm, height 300 mm. After that the bar was swaged and drawn into form of wire. Alloys were studied by optical microscopy, electron microscopy, EDS microanalysis and Vickers hardness testing. Transformation characteristics were studied by resistometric method.
