Abstract

The aim of this thesis is an implementation of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Standard and subsequent application of procedures, which will provide solutions for concrete needs of the company. Processed notes and created documentation will simplify the job orientation for future network administrators. Installation of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Standard will increase the performance and the security and Active Directory Service will enable editing of printer user privileges and moving user profiles. Remote Desktop for remote administration outside of local network will be created. As the next step the remote access from personal computers of management to application Shop 2000 will be secured. Finally the external backup through NAS Storage and installation of Cobian Backup application to ensure automated backups will be performed.
