Identifikace poškození genů signální dráhy EGFR v buňce pro upřesnění prognózy léčby u kolorektálního karcinomu

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the biological essence of tumor formation. It focuses primarily on the EGFR signaling pathway, which is related to the development of colorectal carcinoma. The aim of the thesis is to design and implement the model of the cell with the EGFR signal path in MATLAB and to test this model on real data. A Schoeberl model is used to model the cell with the EGFR signaling pathway, supplemented by a probability matrix. This probability matrix represents the probability of occurrence of spontaneous and induced mutations in the monitored genes. A p53 pathway is incorporated into the cell model, which is considered to be the main genome guard and an MSI system that identifies the stability of genome based on MMR genes damage. The DDR barrier aims to determine the damage of the genes at the 30-year horizon. The functionality of the entire model will be verified on the basis of the TNM system, which characterizes the clinical condition of the patient.
