Analýza dalšího vývoje využití lomu Jesenný

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis analyzes the possibilities for the further utilization of the Jesenný quarry with regard to its specific geological and deposit conditions. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate three scenarios for the future development of mining activities in the area: the resumption of marble dimension stone extraction for decorative purposes, a transition to crushed aggregate production, and the complete cessation of mining activities followed by land reclamation. The theoretical part summarizes the historical development of the quarry and describes the geological structure and hydrogeological conditions of the crystalline limestone deposit. The practical part presents a comprehensive comparison of the proposed variants in terms of technical feasibility, economic efficiency, and environmental impact. The result of the thesis is a proposal for the most suitable variant for the future use of the deposit, enabling efficient utilization of the remaining mineral reserves while respecting environmental protection requirements and the principles of rational use of mineral resources.
