Návrh a realizace QFH antény pro příjem dat z družic NOAA

Abstract

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design and fabrication of a specific spiral QFH antenna for the frequency 137 MHz, i.e. for the reception of satellite images from NOAA satellites. The thesis begins with a brief description of NOAA satellite transmission, including the requirements for reception. It continues with the basic theory of antennas and its main parameters, then describes helical antennas in more detail, and then discusses the design of the QFH antenna itself, its simulation in 4NEC2 software, practical measurements and reception and decoding of meteodata using an SDR receiver.
