Konkurenceschopnost zemí BRICS ve světové ekonomice

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of competitiveness of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa), which belong among emerging markets. The competitiveness is very actual topic, which is discussed at many levels of the world economy, however without having united definition. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to define various attitudes to competitiveness and its measurement and to evaluate the competitiveness of the BRICS countries on the base of macroeconomic data, selected multi-criteria competitiveness rankings and SWOT analysis. This thesis also contains recommendations for improvement of the current situation.
