Abstract

The thesis is focused on wastewater treatment in individual industrial sectors. Wastewater treatment depends greatly on the technological process of production and chemicals used. Currently, the membrane separation processes are dynamically developing and a biological purification processes are mostly used. Introduction is devoted to the general characteristics of water, with emphasis on wastewater and its legislation. Followed by list of the pollutants contained in the wastewater and contaminated water treatment processes in individual industrial sectors.
