Distribuční logistika ve výrobním podniku

Abstract

The bachelor degree thesis analyses the existing transport of finished products in the Coating division of the company VÚHŽ a.s. and transportation costs in 2013. The introduction presents the company VÚHŽ a.s., its product portfolio and its economics in the period 2010 and 2012. Theoretical section provides definitions and theorems of logistics and distribution logistics. Analysis of the distribution flows is based on the data provided by the Coating division, especially on transport of finished products to customers in different regions. On the basis of the determined data the savings of transport costs are proposed in relation to the change of the type of transport. The evaluation does not bring an unequivocal conclusions, as transport costs depend on the size of the shipment, on the distance and delivery terms of the customer.
