Abstract
This thesis deals with the use of ESF funds to support employment in the region Vsetin. The work is composed of two parts. The theoretical part is illustrated by the general problem of unemployment and regional policy. The practical part deals with the analysis of unemployment in the district Vsetin and use of ESF projects implemented through the CoP Vsetin. This section is supplemented with recommendations.
