Zhodnocení zdravotního stavu vybraných druhů dřevin na území Ostravy z hlediska imisního zatížení

Abstract

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to examine the health status of selected type of pine (Pinus L.) with respect to air pollution levels in the Ostrava area. The main idea is to get to know the investigated area, where the field research was performed and following elaboration of the obtained statistical data. The first part describes the air pollution in Ostrava, here the pollution load is specified, together with the sources of pollution and substances polluting air. Next, the characterization of the natural environment and specification of the investigated area Černá louka is presented. The following part is specialized in chosen type of Pinus L. The bachelor thesis elaborates and describes necrosis index of spines of Black Pine (Pinus nigra) for years 2010 and 2011. In these spines the measurements of their necrotic parts were performed to find their damage. The statistical examination of this necrosis index shows, that the necrosis index is higher for year 2010 than for the year 2011.
