Abstract

The thesis inscribes to theme of floods. In introductory chapters is a flood described in general terms that means describes characteristics of floods, process of floods, then the main types of floods which are occured in the Czech Republic. There are described as well as factors influencing the onset and process of floods. The final chapter focuses on floods in June 2009. The chapter is completed by the photos of flow territory, there is also the photo during the flood.
