Analýza možných vlivů současné finanční světové krize na výkonnost podniků

Abstract

This master thesis analyzes the impact of the current unfavorable economic situation on the selected business. The work consists of three parts. The first part focuses on the description of the origin and evolution of the current global economic recession. In this theoretical part there are also defined methods and approaches commonly used to measure performance. The second -- practical -- part of the thesis begins with a short introduction of analyzed company (of Škoda Auto a.s). Then chosen classical and modern economical methods are applied on the analyzed company in order to evaluate the performance. Furthermore the SWOT analysis is performed and also a special focus is given to the risk management. The last part contains an assessment of the current situation and author's own suggestions and recommendations.
