Abstract
Theoretical part is focused on history of development of nanotechnologies, nanomaterials and their properties and use. Special attention is paid to nanoparticles of silver, properties and use of silver. Different methods of synthesis of silver nanoparticles are further described in order to find optimal conditions of nanoparticles synthesis. This part also studies silver, its history and chemical properties.
Experimental part focuses on silver nanoparticles synthesis from stock solutions where different flow rate and temperature were applied. Influence of these parameters on the size of developed nanoparticles was observed. The total volume of reactor and the volume flow rate values were used to find out the residence time of reactants in the reactor. The key role of experimental part plays the measurement of silver nanoparticles sizes by dynamic light scattering method using Zetasizer Ultra Malvern device. Certain values of temperature and volume rate flow were applied for acquiring optimal size of particles. An ideal condition appears to be lower temperature, nevertheless reactant flow rate have no important effect on particle size.
