Abstract

This bachelor thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its impact on selected companies in the Czech Republic. As businesses increasingly focus on sustainability and ethics, CSR has become a crucial element not only in corporate strategies but also in public perception, expecting companies to contribute economically, socially, and environmentally. The study examines how selected Czech companies integrate CSR into their operations and the effects these activities have on public perception, corporate reputation, and business performance. The theoretical part explains the concept of CSR, its historical development, and main theoretical approaches. It also presents current trends in CSR, the importance and role of stakeholders, and the possibilities for measuring the impacts of CSR on business practices. The theoretical foundation provides a framework for understanding how CSR activities can be effectively implemented and how they can contribute to broader social and economic goals. The practical part of the thesis analyzes specific cases of companies selected based on their commitment to CSR and visibility in the Czech market through qualitative research. Detailed studies of these companies reveal how CSR activities are integrated into daily operations, their impact on internal processes, and how they are perceived by external stakeholders. The research includes interviews with company managers, analyses of internal documents, and assessments of publicly available data. The conclusions of this thesis provide valuable insights into how effective CSR practices can benefit both the companies themselves and the broader society. The work also formulates recommendations for companies striving to improve their CSR activities, highlighting key aspects to consider for achieving sustainable development and positive social impact. Thus, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of social responsibility in business and offers specific suggestions and recommendations on how companies can efficiently use their resources and capacities to achieve sustainable goals in society.
