Stanislav Lichorobiec, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of freely available ammunition and its capability of moving gas weapons into categories according to the Act no. 119/2002 Coll. The beginning of the theoretical part deals with the laws of usage of weapons and ammunition, such as obtaining weapons from category D. In the theoretical part, there is a description of legislation of gas weapons in several chosen countries from the European union. The end of the theoretical part describes the principles of ballistics. The practical part is focused on measuring the velocity of ammunition and judging its influence on dividing weapons into weapon categories and furthermore determining security risks associated with gas weapon manipulation.
