Identifikace faktorů ovlivňujících konkurenceschopnost v okresech Frýdek-Místek a Opava

Abstract

The central theme is competitiveness in selected districts of Opava and Frýdek-Místek. For introductions to issue is at first described the theory of competitiveness, which is viewed from the perspective of businesses, primarily in term sof territorial units – the region. Basic factors, which effect on competitiveness in the regions, are listed. The author chose between territorial units of Moravskoslezský kraj for analytical part. This region is closest to him. District level was chosen because of the professional works mostly engaged in these territories. Specific districts were selected based on their similarities. The districts are characterized by basic indicators and than thein competitiveness is analyzed on the basis of pre-selected factors of competitivness. Author worked with the available statistical data form internet sources. In conclusion competitiveness of the districts are compared to established facts in the individual factors examined.
