Abstract
In theoretical part bachelor thesis deals with tool steels, their distribution, principle of the production and applications. Characteristics and basic properties of the patented QRO90 Supreme steel in the practise part are described. More detailed focus is on its microstructure and microhardness after convectional and laser heat treatment. At the end of the work summary of reached knowledge is given.
