Abstract
The subject of this thesis is the synthesis of zinc oxide nanorods from zinc chloride and ammonium by precipitation method.
The theoretical part will cover zinc oxide properties. In the theoretical part there is a section about nanotechnologies and the preparation of zinc oxide nanorods by the precipitation and hydrothermal method. It also describes the analytical methods those used in the experimental parts.
The following specific is a list of explanations of these experiments: the influence of the concentration of reactants on properties of ZnO, the preparation of ZnO by gas ammonium, the preparation of ZnO by surfactant, in order to the best calcinations temperature and the influence of precipitation pH on yield . In the practical section scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetry (TGA) and X-ray powder diffraction are used.
Results are presented in the conclusion.
