Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on usage of Geographical Information System (GIS) for purposes of nature conservation. The introduction of the thesis describes the basic facts about Moravian-Silesian Beskydy mountain range, its geology, geomorphology, fauna and flora. The next chapter concentrates on erosions in the area of Beskydy. The last two chapters are devoted to GIS and its usage on the example of fluvial erosion assessment by using RUSLE method.
