Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of the possible effect of the fire prevention system OxyReduct® on the human physiology. It consists of four chapters. The first charter apprise of the device itself, its functions and use in the fire protection. In the second chapter the role of the oxygen for the ignition and the process of the reaction of the combustion is mentioned. The next part of the work is the summary of basic knowledge about the human physiology, in which the oxygen plays a key role. The fourth chapter focus on work in the hypoxic atmosphere, its safety principles and possible medical restrictions. In the conclusion the basic recommendations for the work in the atmosphere protected by OxyReduct® system are mentioned.
