Abstract

Presented dissertation thesis deals with the need to systematically link the issue of company’s financial analysis together with setting the value of the company and its benchmarking in order to create a professional, effective and fast tool for preventive identification of issues regarding the financial health of the company.

The main aim of the thesis is to propose a system that is especially in technical branches known as the "early warning system". The basic characteristics of this system are information about potential malfunctions and failures that are displayed before their manifestation. This system operates in a time of everyday business operations and provides monitoring of changes in the defined parameters of an industrial company.

A partial aim of this work was to verify the system by entering the real data from a particular selected industrial company. The contribution of this dissertation thesis to the current scientific knowledge lies in trying to design a system that would by its interconnection and by testing selected indicators alert to anomalies and deviations from the normal state, so that they are timely analyzed and therefore it could be concluded, what the phenomenon is and whether it is of a temporary or permanent nature. Secondly, if this phenomenon is a significant one and whether together with other signals may predict a downfall of the company.
