Abstract

This bachelor thesis is devoted to issues of municipal waterworks with wells which are situated in Vřesina. Specifically, it deals with the mapping of already mentioned wells, which can serve as source of drinking water in case of accident of water supply network. Whereas it is source of drinkable water coming from underground, in the first place there are processed information about subterranean waters as natural sources of drinking water. There is included legislation of Czech Republic and EU also. In the next section my thesis is devoted to characteristic of district where is situated waterworks with wells, distribution of wells, their location and history of supplying of drinkable water in area of Odra’s basin, also itself municipal waterworks. Moreover there is a chapter deals with measurement and definition of selected parameters. The thesis is closed a chapter, where is drala the current state of municipal waterworks with wells, how is its possible use and how is potentially process procedure renewal and regeneration of wells.
