Abstract

This thesis is focused on the significance of the application of the precautionary principle. Analysis of the actual state of the company accounts FERRIT Ltd. detected the absence of an application this principle. The thesis includes a description of reserves for repairs of fixed assets and provisions against receivables as instruments of the precautionary principle. These principles and instruments are applied in the form of modeling in the financial statements in the period 2008 - 2012. In conclusion this thesis is the comparison of the actual state of the modeled situation and proposed practical measures for their correct application.
