Posouzení rušivých vlivů veřejného osvětlení ve městě Frýdek-Místek.

Abstract

In the present study I deal with the impact of disturbing light on the lives of people, plants and animals. Public lighting is an important part of our lives, but also a source of disturbing light, which can-not be completely avoided. The effect of inadequate light is dazzling, interference, harassment and feeling of discomfort. The first part of the study focuses on the sources of disturbing light, light emitted into the upper hemisphere and into the vertical planes. In the next part I focus on the adverse effects of disturbing light and the problems manifested in many areas of life. Artificial light can disturb aquatic ecosystems, transform reproductive behavior of some animals and affect reaction insects, plants, trees and birds. In the final part I focus on standards, lighting classes, measurement of obtrusive light, artificial light and Dark-sky preserve Beskydy region. I introduced measures to reduce disturbing light and how one should properly use lighting sources.
