Pohled médií na umění a kulturu v krajích České republiky

Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis is the introduction of art and culture in the regions of the Czech Republic and their image in the media. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on defining the concept of media, television stations, art and culture and the characteristics of individual regions. In the practical part, the work is focused on quantitative and qualitative analysis of Media Tenor's data in the field of art and culture for the period 2004-2011 and for individual TV stations and news. Through the media data, the contributions of individual TV stations, it is possible to see how much the media world influences the profiles of the individual regions of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, we can see how media contributions are interpreted and to what extent they correspond to the real characteristics in the regions of art and culture.
