Potenciální využití geotermální energie pro výrobu tepla v oblasti severní části karpatské předhlubně a flyšového pásma Západních Karpat

Abstract

The given thesis tries to verify, confirm and also deepen the principal documents dealing with using of geothermal energy in the Czech Republic. Because of the lack of the materials dealing with the potential of geothermal energy in Moravia, the thesis focuses on northern part of the Flysch Belt and the Carpathian Foredeep. The thesis also describes the geological structure of the area for the reader´s better image of conditions, in which geological structures it is possible to use the renewable source of energy, as well as hydrogeological structure of the area which is both important and perspective on account of possible transmission medium. The thesis attempts to clarify and define some areas with the best possible potential in the Flysch Belt and the Carpathian Foredeep. It also recommends a geothermal system which would transform the energy extracted from the Earth´s crust into thermal utilization of population.
