Hospodaření městských obvodů

Abstract

This thesis is focused on economy of some districts at Municipality of Ostrava. Furthermore, in this thesis, there is a topic of particular factors that affect budget receipts and expenditures. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on general principles of Czech cities economy. There is defined activity of cities. Moreover, there are described authorities of the cities and budget of territorial self-administrative units as well. In the practical part, there is the exact economy analysis of the city districts Lhotka, Martinov, Pustkovec, Plesná and Proskovice. Furthermore, there are basic facts about Municipality of Ostrava. The last part of the thesis is aimed at correlation among the city districts and education as the factors that affect their economy.
