Rekultivace prostoru Severní lom s dílčím využitím přirozené sukcese

Abstract

The aim of the presented work is to address the issues of general requirements on remediation and reclamation and to make an actual proposal of the reclamation method of the land affected by lignite mining in the locality of Severní Lom situated near the Prunéřov power plant premises. After extraction of the reserved mineral this area was used as storage of the secondary energy products which arise during the manufacturing process in the power plant Prunéřov. In the first part of the work, there are listed the basic requirements and information about the valid legislation, which stipulates the conditions and procedures for organisations that ensure remediation and reclamation of land affected by mining. In the second part, the actual proposal of the reclamation method of the Severní lom area is presented together with an alternative solution, the objective of which is the increased square footage of the reclaimed area which will be left to natural succession.
