Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with elaboration of a part of project documentation for a construction of a hotel as a part of a balneological complex in the cadastral unit of the municipality of Lhotka u Litultovic. The elaboration of the thesis was based on documents which include an urban study area of the spa together with an architectural study of the construction, created in the subjects Ateliérová tvorba III and IV.
The aim was to design the hotel site so that its aesthetic intrusion into an almost undeveloped landscape is minimal. Because of that, the largest and regarding the capacity the most challenging part, the hotel, was divided into several interconnected buildings. Therefore, no monolithic structure distorting the natural character of the surrounding environment is being created. Regarding the shape, the objects are oriented according to the cardinal points for the best solar access and views of the surrounding area while still maintaining privacy, to which also façade elements in the form of sliding panels contribute. Using them, guests can control temperature, light and privacy in their hotel rooms.
