Finanční benchmarking energetické společnosti

Abstract

The aimt of this diploma thesis is to analyze the financial health of ČEZ, a.s., Innogy Česká republika, a.s., MND a.s., Bohemia Energy entity, s.r.o. and a subsequent proposal to improve the economic situation in one of the selected companies. ČEZ, a.s. was selected for the proposal to improve the economic situation. Rufthermore, this diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, where the concepts, types and functions of benchmarking are described, as well as the concept, purpose, sources and methods of financial analysis. The practical part evaluates the financial health of companies using absolute indicators, ratios and using creditworthiness and bankruptcy models. The last chapter evaluates the financial health and the following recommendations for improving the economic situation in ČEZ, a.s.
