Vplyv procesu flow-forming na štruktúru a vlastnosti materiálu na výrobu diskov kolies

Abstract

This thesis deals with the productions of steel shaped rims for automobile wheels by flowforming process. The main aim of this work is to find and compare the mechanical properties between the base material and after flowforming process, at the place of welding as well as outside the weld. Evaluation was performed on high-strength S460MC steel, where it was supposed to thinning the material with minimum degradation the deformation properties. Flow forming process was manifested for each type of sample by a change of microstructure, in particular by changing the shape of the grains and inclusions. Not only this, there has also been consolidation process. That is to say the mechanical properties have changed, which were identified by the tensile test, as well as to the influencing of hardness.
