Komparace rugbyových klubů z hlediska financování a organizační struktury

Abstract

The aim of this Thesis was to analyse and compare two different Rugby clubs in terms of funding and organizational structure. Find out how these clubs operate, where their income and financial resources come from and how are they used. Subsequent comparison of these aspects are intended to highlight the differences between both clubs. In the theoretical part I focused on the definition of basic concepts relating to the issue. Among the terms I have described were research methods, organizational structure of sports clubs in the Czech Republic and funding of sports organizations. In the practical part, I have dealt with the analysis and comparison of clubs. In this chapter, I introduced a basic overview of the clubs, their history, present management and organizational structure. Next, I defined an important information relating to the management of the clubs and this knowledge I have subsequently used in the preparation of a SWOT analysis. Using the clubs‘ financial and management data, I created overview tables and graphs, that compare both teams from different perspectives. In the next chapter, I summarised the results of my research and proposed suitable solutions to the identified deficiencies.
