Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of business evaluation, laid out in three chapters. Chapter one involves underlying theoretic approaches to the evaluation of the business in question, the methodological tools and their characteristics. Part two follows up with a specific analysis of the financial health and property of the business in question, where the underlying data were received from the financial reports. Chapter three contains an evaluation of a selected business by means of the DCF-Entity return-based method and the asset-based method of the book value of equity. The last part consists in an evaluation and comparison of the results obtained. The thesiss answers the question of what market value of the company makes an offer for potential investors.
