Abstract

The aim of this thesis was to perform a comparison of corporate governance in the Baltic countries and the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of two parts, the first part is devoted to the theoretical foundations for the field of corporate governance, the second part was performed by comparison. This method is focused on 33 key indicators of corporate governance, which highlighted the disparity in the countries compared. Based on the facts that were discussed in detail, were subsequently drawn conclusions, recommendations and forecasts of future developments leading to improvement in the overall level of corporate governance in the countries, which were analyzed.
