Úloha mikroorganismů v biodegradaci ekologicky rozložitelných plastů

Abstract

This master thesis deals with the effect of microbial biodegradation on bio-based plastics. Theoretical part is focused on biodegradable plastics that are used in everyday life. One of the main parts is considered to raw materials from which are biodegradable plastics made and their impact on the environment during decomposition. The practical part presents the possibility of bacterial biodegradation of selected materials. The experiment lasted for 250 days and biodegradation process was continuously monitored by taking photos of each sample in different time periodes.
