Podpora kultury na úrovni krajů v České republice

Abstract

The diploma work centers upon the regional support of culture in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to evaluate the current state of public support of culture at the regional level of the Czech Republic and to find the most suitable way to provide that support in the future. The first part focuses on the theoretical structure of cultural support as an economic sector, as well as a part of a common life of the citizens, at the level of state support and at the regional level. In the main part the paper analyzes the selected regions, Olomoucký and Moravskoslezský; the general conclusions of this analysis are drawn by the method of induction. The last section contains the evaluation of culture funding at the regional level over the period 2008 to 2012.
