Aplikace CAD/CAM technologií při plánování dobývání nerostných surovin na SD a.s.

Abstract

The social dependence on the fossil fuels is more than significant. At present, the lignite is the only significant primary source of the Czech Republic. Its use is mainly in the thermal power stations where the share of coal in the total electricity production makes almost two-thirds. However, this non-renewable resource is not inexhaustible. The mines are getting near the so-called ecological limits of mining unstoppably (government decree No. 444/1991). How shall we deal with the mineral wealth? The mining act No. 44/1988, in the § 11, the clause 2, the point c) "sets the usage of such methods and procedures in the mining with a view to avoid or to prevent the exclusive use of the coal-bed - or parts thereof - and the unjustified loss of the exclusive coal-seam." Therefore, the mining is preceded by the thorough geological, design and planning activities which ensure the maximum possible utilization of the balance coal resources. The task of this thesis is making acquaintace with the current methods of the preparation and the planning of the surface coal mining in the mines of Bílina SD a.s.
