Abstract

Financial analysis is an important part of financial management. It is a method that provides feed-back on financial management and enables to detect the problems of the company. The main task of financial analysis is to provide information about financial situation of the company, evaluate their prospects for the future, and recommend solution to improve the financial situation. The aim of bachelor work is to evaluated financial situation of the electro-assembly company MSEM in 2005-2009 with financial ratios. Bachelor work consists of two parts. Theoretical part is focused on the methodology of financial analysis, here is described a purpose of financial analysis, the most important methods and specific groups of financial ratios. This part includes main information about the electro-assembly company MSEM (subject of enterprise, company history, organization structure) and information developed from vertical and horizontal analysis is here too. The practical part is devoted to specific groups of financial ratios and their development in company MSEM in the period 2005-2009, including their comparisons with industry averages. At the close there is an evaluation of the financial situation of the company.
