Ivana Grygarová: Selection and adaptation of employees. Dissertation, Ostrava 2010.
In this dissertation I deal with selection and adaptation of employees. In introduction part of the work there is a short summary of main aim of the work. You can find there a description of the incoming research in selected company as well.
The work has two chapters – the first one is theoretical and is divided into two units. The first unit is dedicated to selection of employees. Selection criteria, methodology and reliability are described here. Main part of this unit deals with selection interview as the most used method of new employees’ selection. The second unit contains information about adaptation, adaptation program and about ideal time table as well. Each of the unit contains its own conclusion where is described the way of particular period evaluation. At the end of theoretical part of my work you can find a short summary of used questioning methods. This is followed by characteristics of company that the survey was realized in.
The survey of the process of selection and adaptation in selected company was realized in the practical chapter. The way of selection procedure of this company is described here too. Findings were analyzed and diagrammatized. Output of the survey and analysis consists of seven suggestions. These are followed by conclusion of this diploma paper.
